Val-d’Or, QC (April 3, 2018) — Choice Hotels Canada, the country’s largest hotel franchisor, recently announced that Quality Inn & Suites Val-d’Or was awarded a prestigious Platinum Hospitality Award. The annual awards celebrate the highest rated properties within the Canadian portfolio of more than 325 hotels across the country.
This is the sixth consecutive year this hotel has been honoured with a Platinum Award, having been recognized each year since the hotel opened in 2011. In 2014, the Quality Inn & Suites Val-d’Or was recognized not only as Canadian Hotel of the Year, but also International Hotel of the Year for the Quality brand.

Hospitality Awards are determined based on a ranking system that examines key performance areas including guest survey results and quality assurance reviews. Platinum recipients represent the best of the best and are among the top three per cent of hotels in Choice Canada’s system.
